Artwork production and installation in Doha

The realization of monumental projects relies on our industrial structure, which has been capable of meeting the most complex requirements since 1999. In our 2,000 m² French workshop, art project deploys cutting-edge multi-material engineering, combining metal, technical glass, blown neon, wood, and composites. With a lifting capacity of 10 tons and an integrated design office, we oversee the manufacture of works of art from the initial structural design to the final installation.

International: Achievements

Challenges of implementation and installation logistics in the Qatari metropolis

Installingartworks in Doha requires careful anticipation of urban constraints, particularly in areas such as Lusail, West Bay, and the Katara Cultural Village. The architectural density and flow management in these areas require meticulous logistical planning to ensure the safety of each stage of the installation process.

Lifting supervision and specific road permits in Doha:

The deployment of these works of art requires obtaining crane permits and public domain occupancy permits from local authorities (Ashghal or the municipality of Doha). Our teams manage ground load-bearing constraints, which are often critical on cornices or paved squares, and adapt lifting equipment to the frequent wind conditions in the bay. We provide full coordination to ensure precise installation without disrupting the surrounding infrastructure.

French industrial excellence and securing the flow to Qatar

Each step of the art production is centralized in our production facility in France, enabling us to maintain a consistent standard of quality before any international shipment to the Arabian Peninsula.

On-site installation and dry run assembly protocol under a 10-ton bridge:

In order to ensure the final assembly in Doha is secure, we systematically carry out a full dry run assembly of each work of art in our 2,000 m² workshop. The use of our 10-ton overhead crane allows us to validate the complex mechanical interfaces and the stability of the whole. This pre-assembly process is essential to eliminate any structural adjustments on site and guarantee perfectly controlled maritime or air transit.

Materials engineering in the face of the challenges of the Persian Gulf

The art project design office incorporates the extreme environmental parameters of Doha, characterized by high salinity and intense UV radiation, into the design of the artworks from the outset.

Control of salt corrosion and thermal shock:

The durability of these works of art depends on the choice of highly resistant alloys and technical surface treatments (high-protection varnish, specific powder coating). We calculate the expansion coefficients to absorb the significant temperature variations between day and night, while protecting the materials from sand abrasion. This expertise ensures that the works of art retain their brilliance and integrity, whether they are displayed indoors in institutions or in coastal public spaces.
