Production of artworks and installation in Europe

art project has been acting as a technical partner for the realization of artistic projects on the European continent since 1999. Our model is based on centralized manufacturing in France, within our 2,000 m² workshops. This organization allows us to offer total control of the production chain and consistent precision in execution before shipping the works to various European cities. Drawing on our industrial infrastructure, we support creators in the transition from concept to physical reality, while ensuring smooth logistics to exhibition sites.

International achievements

The challenges of installation and fitting in Europe

Working in Europe requires detailed knowledge of local logistics and regulations. Each on-site installation requires careful preparation to ensure it fits perfectly into its destination environment at art project.

Compliance with Eurocodes standards:

From the design phase onwards, our manufacturing process incorporates the structural calculations necessary to meet European safety standards. This approach guarantees the stability of structures in public spaces, regardless of the country in which they are located.

Deployment by our installation team:

To ensure installation in line with technical requirements, our specialist teams travel to the site. They take care of anchoring, final assembly, and finishing touches, applying the same high standards on site as in the workshop.

Smooth trade within the European Union

For destinations within the Schengen area, such as Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, Milan, and Rome, logistics benefit from the free movement of goods. This flexibility allows art project to organize direct road transport from our French workshop, optimizing turnaround times for on-site assembly and installation. Document management here focuses on the traceability of materials and compliance with European safety standards for works intended forpublic spaces.

Specific expertise for non-EU destinations (United Kingdom and Switzerland)

Intervention in major artistic hubs such as London, Basel, Zurich or Geneva requires rigorous customs management for temporary or permanent export. art project assists creators in preparing critical customs documents:

ATA Carnet:

Facilitation of temporary admissions for international exhibitions or fairs, avoiding customs duties.

Pro forma invoicing and packing lists:

Precise technical description of materials (metal, wood, glass) for smooth customs clearance.

ISPM15 certified packaging:

Use of treated technical crates, mandatory for international transit outside the EU, ensuring the protection of the work and phytosanitary compliance.

A French production hub for European influence

The foundation of art project lies in its production tools. Our French workshop is equipped to handle large-scale projects throughout Europe that require heavy technical resources.

Lifting capacity and dry assembly:

Equipped with a 10-ton overhead crane, our workshop allows us to carry out full pre-assembly ofmonumental works. This validation stage is essential to ensure the final installation is secure and to check each adjustment before shipping to the mainland.

Multi-material expertise:

We transform metal, engineered wood, glass, neon, and composites (Dibond) with the same precision. This in-house versatility allows us to coordinate complex hybrid projects under a single technical direction.

Customized technical packaging:

To protect works during transit in Europe, we manufacture standardized technical crates. This protection is sized according to the fragility of the materials and the constraints of road or sea transport.

Engineering and adaptation to European climates

Our support is based on more than 25 years of experience in solving construction issues for the art world.

Careful selection of materials for durability:

We advise artists on the choice of alloys and surface treatments (stainless steel, marble, composites) to suit European climatic variations, from coastal areas to urban environments.

Feasibility study and design office:

We translate artistic intentions into viable technical solutions. Our implementation plans are designed to respect the original aesthetic while ensuring the mechanical durability of the structure.

Maintenance and sustainability:

We anticipate future maintenance needs right from the manufacturing stage. Our fastening systems and finishes are designed to limit the impact of time and use in urban environments at art project.
