Artwork production and installation in Mexico City
International achievements
Challenges of installing artworks in seismic and densely populated urban areas
The technical deployment in Mexico City requires a rigorous analysis of geological and urban constraints. The Mexican capital, located at high altitude and on an ancient lake basin, presents unique challenges in terms of mechanical stability and access logistics for these works of art.
Bearing capacity management on soft soils and seismic calculations:
The installation of these works of art requires specific engineering to meet the city's strict earthquake resistance standards. Our engineers design anchoring systems adapted to the clay soils of the Mexico City Valley, while coordinating complex crane permits in dense areas such as Zócalo or Polanco. We anticipate local road restrictions to ensure the safe transport of large components.

Manufacturing expertise in France and export flows to Latin America
Each phase of the artwork manufacturing process is centralized in our French facility, ensuring full compliance with precision standards before transfer to Mexico. This offshoring production model secures complex assemblies prior to international shipment.
On-site installation and validation by dry assembly under a 10-ton bridge:
In order to prevent any unforeseen issues during installation in Mexico City, we systematically carry out a full dry run assembly of each work of art in our 2,000 m² workshop. The use of our 10-ton overhead crane allows us to test the tolerance of mechanical interfaces and structural stability. This protocol ensures that the artworks are ready for rapid installation upon arrival, after rigorously monitored sea and land transport.

Resilience of materials to altitude and solar radiation
The art project design office takes into account environmental factors in Mexico City, including the high UV index linked to altitude (2,240 m) and the impact of urban pollution on surfaces.
Protection against intense UV rays and finish stability:
The longevity of works of art depends on a rigorous selection of high-performance surface treatments. We apply technical varnishes and composite coatings that are resistant to the intense sunlight of the Mexican plateau to prevent any color degradation. This preventive engineering ensures the aesthetic and structural stability of works of art, whether they are exhibited in cultural institutions or in public spaces in the city.
