Art Fabricator Venice: Technical Art Fabrication and Installation
Featured Global Art Fabrication Projects
Logistics and Technical Installation in Lagoon Environments
The installation of structures in the heart of La Serenissima is a challenge. The absence of land roads requires a complete transition to river transport, where each component must be sized for transshipment onto barges.
Coordination of nautical lifting and tide management:
Assembly in Venice requires the use of pontoon cranes and rigorous planning in accordance with the Acqua Alta cycles. Our teams anticipate the narrowness of the calli and the fragility of the pile foundations of Venetian palaces. We manage all navigation and public maritime domain occupancy permits with local authorities, ensuring safe installation, even during high-traffic events such as the Biennale.

Art Fabrication in France and Lagoon Logistics
Centralizing art fabrication at our 21,500 sq ft facility in France ensures absolute precision in execution. This remote model is crucial for securing operations in an environment where no structural adjustments can be made on site.
Protocol for dry assembly and transit security:
Thanks to our 10-ton (22,000 lbs) lifting capacity, each project undergoes a full dry run assembly in the art fabrication workshop before shipment. This technical step allows us to validate the mechanical interfaces and anchor points. Once validated, the artwork is packaged for complex multimodal transport, combining road and barge, with specific protection against thermal shocks and water splashes during transit to the islands of the lagoon.

Materials Engineering for Art Fabrication in Saline Environments
The Venetian environment is one of the most aggressive in Europe for materials. The salt-laden air and constant humidity dictate uncompromising engineering choices.
Selection of stainless alloys and high-performance surface treatments:
Our design office systematically favors the useof 316Lstainless steel and high salt resistance surface treatments to prevent electrochemical oxidation. We apply rigorous protection protocols to composites and technical glass to counter salt deposits. This preventive approach ensures the structural and aesthetic durability of our projects, whether they are submerged, exposed on quays, or installed in historic buildings.
